City Lips Lip Plumper - Product Review

If I could change one thing on my face, it is my lips. I have always had thin lips, and an inner-craving for fuller, plumper lips. You could probably say that I am somewhat obsessed with my lips, because I don't go too many places without a fresh application of lipstick to add some volume.

I didn't realize there was anything that would give me fuller lips (other than collagen injections) until I found "City Lips." They claim their product is a "revolutionary lip-plumping treatment that can double the size of your lips in as little as 30 days, with no pain." City Lips is said to stimulate collagen production in your lips to plump them, and shrink fine lines and wrinkles.

I took advantage of their "buy 2, get one free" offer from their website and the order arrived in a few days. I decided to give this a good try to see if there really is a non-evasive procedure to fatten my puny, thin lips.

The packaging and tubes were very attractive and I was immediately impressed with the applicator, a durable white brush. It also came with complete instructions. The first time you use CityLips, you need to twist the bottom of the applicator until you see the product appears on the brush. This took me quite a few twists and it's hard to tell when it's coming out since the gel is clear.

I followed the instructions and applied the lip plumping gel twice a day, once in the daytime hours and right before I went to bed. I didn't start noticing any results until about 3 weeks later. At this point, I wasn't examining my lips every day because you're supposed to give it at least 30 days. I did notice that my lips were beginning to look a little plumper in the mornings before I applied any make-up.

Now, I'm well past my 30 day test and am somewhat pleased with the results. The only thing that I would request from them is a tinted gel, so I could see how much of the product is coming out onto the applicator when I twist the end.
