Dove Intense Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner Product Review

I was eager to try Dove's new "Intense Moisture" shampoo and conditioner because they're a trusted brand. Spring is here and so is my frizzy hair that goes along with it. Dove promises "deep replenishment for dry or damaged hair" and because my hair is color-treated and always dry, I had to give these products a try.

Intense Moisture Shampoo

The first thing I noticed is the scent. It's fabulous and something I would expect from a salon shampoo. It produces quite a lather so I didn't have to use very much to get my hair clean. It removed the build-up I have from styling products after just one shampoo.

Intense Moisture Conditioner

Dove's conditioner has the same pleasant fragrance as the shampoo. After applying the conditioner, letting it soak in, and rinsing, my hair was softer and shinier than usual. The scent lingers so I had great smelling hair all day. Time will tell if this conditioner will leave a build-up similar to what Pantene leaves.

Overall, I think Dove Intense Moisture offers great value for the price. I have had to buy several bottles of both the shampoo and conditioner because this is what my family prefers when they hop in the shower. The bottles are attractive but the caps can become messy.
