Jenny's Story Update:

I am sad to say that my success with AcneFree was short lived...I cleared up.... then broke out again. It was an endless cycle. I was never "AcneFree" for more than 3 or 4 days at a time. University Medical Products (U.M.P.) read my review and sent me an email asking if I would be willing to try out their reformulated cleanser and lotion. I agreed.

They sent a new cleanser and several samples of the lotion to me. The cleanser seemed to be improved but the lotions were all gritty and seemed to all be the same as before. I tried each one for a couple of weeks and each time it was the same....I'd clear up then break right back out again in a few of days.

Several people wrote to me suggesting U.M.P. might have switched the cleanser and lotion formulas and that the lotion might actually be a cleanser. I think now that they may be right. I forwarded every email that I received to U.M.P. I don't know if they will ever be able to duplicate the ProAcne that worked so well or not. But it was time for me to move forward and try something else.

The important thing for me, as I am sure it is for you as well, is to get my skin clear and to have it stay clear. Thanks to one person who wrote to me...(Diana -THANK YOU!) I went searching for another product called Klear Action and found it at Walgreens. I have been using it for a few weeks now and my skin looks great again! Right now it is working beautifully and I am hoping that it will continue to work. The summer will be a big test with all the sunscreen, sweat, and outdoor activities....If my skin stays clear over the summer I will have found my new miracle.

The Klear Action cleanser cleans very well, the toner comes in a bottle 2oz larger than ProActiv or AcneFree which is very nice. The lotion is very smooth and easy to apply makeup over. The blemishes that remained after trying the AcneFree samples, cleared up completely in just a few days after beginning the Klear Action treatment and has remained clear.
