Crest Whitestrips Dental Whitening Product Review

I'm jaded when it comes to tooth whitening formulas. I've tried a few only to come to the conclusion that they're all out for money, but don't deliver on the promises. Some are cumbersome, others are too easy, which should have been a red flag.

Because I couldn't believe that none of them worked well, I thought I'd try another product, Crest Whitestrips. I had some stains on my teeth and this product claims to "remove up to 14 years of stain build-up in just 14 days, satisfaction guaranteed." No nasty trays to refill and no brush on gel that comes off right away. Sounds worth trying to me.

If you figure it's going to take you around 14 days for a whiter smile, then you should expect to see some improvement somewhere between the time you begin using the strips and when the 14 day time period is up. I got a surprise after my first use.

The instructions are easy to follow, advising you to use Crest Whitestrips on the upper and lower teeth twice a day for 30 minutes each time. This can be inconvenient, but if you read the directions closely enough, they say that you can use 2 applications (on both the upper and lower teeth) back-to-back, for a total of one hour.

I never imagined that I would see an improvement the first day, but I was delighted. My teeth were whiter and shinier -- after just two treatments (one day.) This gave me plenty of incentive to keep using the product. My teeth got much whiter after each use and now I only use them now and then for maintenance. I had some stains on the back of my front teeth and they were reduced considerably. Over time, they may disappear altogether.

I am very happy with Crest Whitestrips and will try "Night Effects" soon. I didn't experience the tooth sensitivity or sore gums as I had come to expect. I'm sure that for some people, this can be a problem with any tooth whitening gel, so use with caution.

To make your teeth appear whiter, wear a red lipstick with a blue base. Stay away from orange and yellow tones.
